Therefore, phones do not work inside buildings or vehicles unless used with an external antenna. Service in outdoor locations with trees, hills, mountains, buildings or other similar structures or geographical features may impair or prevent the use of satellite communication equipment. Please note that text messaging service on satellite phones may not be possible to and from terrestrial mobile phones. Also some telephone networks may block calling satellite telephones. If this is the case we may be able to offer alternative ways of calling the satellite networks. Some countries, such as India, have restrictions or regulations (such as permits or licenses) for use or possession of satellite equipment, as such Customers are recommended to contact the Embassy, High Commission or Trade Commission of the destination or transit countries or territories, prior to entry into any country or territory. Satellite phones cannot call emergency service numbers such as 911, 112 and 999. Users are advised to obtain geographic telephone numbers for services they need before their journey.
