Short Term Satellite Rental

We offer rental of satellite equipment for the Iridium and Inmarsat satellite networks.

Our rates are ideal for anyone not wanting to commit to the purchase of equipment and ongoing subscription charges.

We offer prompt same-day delivery in central London and next day across the UK. Equipment is often available at short notice, but advanced booking is recommended to ensure availability.

Inmarsat IsatPhone Pro Handset Rental

A deposit of £500 GBP ex VAT is required, this will be refunded less any additional charges upon safe receipt of the handset. The minimum hire period is 7 days.

  • Rental is £10.00 per day, including:

Rental up to 14 days in duration – includes 6 minutes of calls per day to landlines and mobile phones worldwide.
Rental of 15 – 28 days in duration – includes 8 minutes of calls per day to landlines and mobile phones worldwide.
Rental 29 days – 2 months in duration – includes 10 minutes of calls per day to landlines and mobile phones worldwide.
Rental exceeding 2 months in duration – includes 12 minutes of calls per day to landlines and mobile phones worldwide.

  • Voice calls to landline or mobile and data calls are £1.60 per minute when included calls have been used up.
  • We do not offer technical support for data services (ie configuration of computer) however full technical support is provided for all other services.
  • Delivery and collection £15 each way, or £30 for same day service in Central London.

Iridium Handset Rental

  • Truly global coverage from pole to pole only from Iridium

Rent the latest fully equipped Iridium Extreme 9575 sat-phone

  • £20.00 per day including 7 minutes of calls per day (10 minutes a day if your rental exceeds 1 month in duration).
  • Handset is supplied fully equipped with mains charger, carry case, in-car charger (12/24v DC), auxiliary magnetic car antenna with 1.5m cable and Wi-Fi axcesspoint, ideal for email use with Blackberry.
  • Call costs are £1.40 per minute for standard calls once included calls have been used up.
  • Text messages £0.60 per message (if available).
  • Minimum hire 7 days.

Rent a basic Iridium handset
  • £10.00 per day (no calls included).
  • Handset is supplied with mains charger and carry case.
  • Call costs are £1.40 per minute for standard calls.
  • Text messages £0.60 per message (if available).
  • Minimum hire 1 month.

Inmarsat BGAN Thrane & Thrane 300

Inmarsat BGAN Thrane & Thrane 500

  • £25 a day or £600 per calendar month
  • Data costs are £7 per MByte
  • Voice calls are £1.20 per minute
  • Delivery and collection £15 each way, or £30 for same day service in Central London

Inmarsat BGAN Thrane & Thrane 700 (for video conference/streaming)

  • £30 per day or £900 per calendar month
  • Data costs are £7 per MByte
  • Voice calls are £1.20 per minute

32kbps – £3 per min
64kbps – £5 per min
128kbps – £10 per min
256kbps – £15 per min
384kbps – £22.50 per min

Iridium Pager Rental

Please note that satellite telephones require a direct line of sight from the antenna to the satellite. Therefore, phones do not work inside buildings or vehicles unless used with an external antenna. Service in outdoor locations with trees, hills, mountains, buildings or other similar structures or geographical features may impair or prevent the use of satellite communication equipment.

Please note that text messaging service on satellite phones may not be possible to terrestrial mobile phones.
