You can use your existing phone, no need to open an account, pre-pay for a service or receive another bill. Just call from your normal phone and enjoy massively discounted rates.

1. To make a call to a satellite phone, dial: 0911 448 4488
2. At the prompt, key in the satphone number you wish to reach (starting 008).

How you pay for calls:
The charge for calling the 0911 448 premium rate number will appear on your phone bill charged at a rate of £1.50** per minute from when your call is connected by our system. This is the only charge you will pay - there are no extra costs.

FAQ

Q: How much will I pay for my call?
A: You will only be charged to access the premium rate numbers as described (just £1.50 a minute). There will be no further charges other than this - the call to the receiving party is not an additional charge. You pay for the call to the premium rate number and that is it.

Q: When does the call start?
A: It starts from the moment your call to the premium rate numbers is connected to our system (when you hear the instructions asking you to dial the number you want to call). So, if the person you are calling does not answer the phone, we advise not to let the phone ring for a long time as you are being charged for this.

Q: Will the satellite phone number I called show up on my phone bill?
A: No, only the call to the premium rate number will be shown on your bill and charged for by your phone provider.

Q: Do I need any special equipment to use this service?
A: No, all you need is a touch tone phone.

Q: Can I use this service from a mobile, payphone or non BT landline?
A: Yes, you can. However, call charges to our premium rate number will vary and you should confirm these with your phone provider.

Q: Are there any extra charges at all?
A: No.

Callers must ensure they have the bill payer's permission before using the Satphone Dial service.
All calls are billed by your telephone provider at their relevant rates for premium 0911448 numbers.
Calls are charged from the time of connection to our system, so we advise you hang up after a short period if your calls are engaged or unanswered. Due to slower connection speeds with satellite systems, there may be a slight delay in connection times compared to landlines and mobiles.
Callmonitor reserves the right to terminate fraudulent calls without notice.
The service is subject to availability.
