 The TT-3080A Capsat¨ Messenger is your best choice for a truly portable high-speed data terminal. It is a unique tool for fast worldwide communication.
The terminal has the following interfaces: Euro ISDN, USB, two RJ11 jacks for fax and phone, standard RS 232 interface, PCMCIA interface and audio ports for headphones and tape input.
The 64 kbps bandwidth of the Capsat¨ Messenger and the Euro ISDN interface makes it possible to browse on the Internet, connect to your Local or Wide Area Network, transmit real time and store and forward video conferencing, send pictures and broadcast quality voice.
It will also be possible to use the Inmarsat MPDS service. When using this service you will be charged per transmitted Mbit and not per minute. This means flexibility, choice, and cost savings.
The Capsat¨ Messenger is housed in a magnesium case, making it ideal for rugged outdoor use. The antenna is easy to unfold and deploy and can be positioned up to 200 metres away from the main unit.
The unit is delivered to you in a lightweight and sturdy bag with separate room for cables, batteries, and other accessories.

TT-3080A Big Dish Antenna for the Capsat¨ Messenger 
The Capsat¨ Messenger terminal combined with the robust TT-3008B antenna, now allows for a complete weatherproof fixed solution at a remote site. You may install this system in connection with the sites PABX system, and not even know you are communicating via a high speed satellite connection.
You will be using the Global Area Network (GAN) service offered by Inmarsat, to cover both your high speed and low speed data needs. The 64 kbps ISDN rate is suited for all Internet applications, video conference as well as other bandwidth intensive applications. At the same time you have access to the inexpensive low speed Mini-M services for voice, fax, and data.
Whilst maintaining the user friendliness of the Capsat¨ Messenger, you still have access to a vast range of applications via the many interfaces built into the terminal. At the same time if everything else fails and you loose complete power, you still have an integrated telephone and battery, so that you never loose the ability to stay in touch.
This solution is well suited as a back up system, not only to other satellite systems such as VSAT, but also to the land based infrastructure. Maintaining communication capabilities is becoming extremely important, many of our customers can not afford to have a branch or site down even for a few hours.
The Capsat¨ Messenger with the TT-3008B antenna is now the answer to this concern.
It is simple to swap between the two Capsat¨ Messenger antennas, so that surveys and observations can be reported immediately via the portable antenna and upon returning to the site, a more detailed report can be sent back via the fixed antenna.
It is the same terminal without any hardware modifications that works with both types of antennas. The TT-3008B can be positioned up to 200 metres away from the main unit. It is very easy to deploy with the frame mount construction where the pointing angle of the antenna can easily be adjusted. It is also delivered with brackets and hinges so that it can be installed on a pole. The frame mount version is well proven and has been installed in thousands of locations around the world.
The antenna is delivered in a lightweight and sturdy bag, so that it may easily be transported from one remote site to another.

The Capsat¨ Messenger Terminal combined with the robust TT-3008D antenna is the perfect choice for a combined fixed and portable solution at a remote site. It offers both portability and an easy to set-up fixed solution. The 64 kbps mobile ISDN connection gives the user access to Internet, high quality voice calls, fax transfers, video conferences, and many other applications.
In addition, you also have access to the inexpensive low speed Mini-M services for voice, fax, and data.
Should you require a 128 kbps solution then this is made possible by combining two M4 terminals to the ISDN interfaces of your laptop.
You will be using the Global Area Network (GAN) service offered by Inmarsat, which covers both your high speed and low speed data needs.
The Small Dish antenna is just one of the many antennas available for the Thrane & Thrane M4. All of the antennas are easily interchangeable with the same transceiver.
The antenna has a robust frame mount construction that also gives the option of installing it on a pole or tripod.
The transceiver is placed in a bracket inside the antenna making it one unit that only weighs 5.2 kg/11.5 lbs.
