Globalstar Qualcomm GSP-2900With the standard GSP-2900 Fixed Phone, the antenna and fixed phone unit are mounted in a convenient outdoor location with a clear view of the sky for satellite calls. This is and excellent choice for most land-based business and residential installations. The GSP-2900 provides excellent reliability in all latitudes with Globalstar coverage.

The QUALCOMM Globalstar fixed satellite phone combines the easy availability of a normal two wire telephone set with state of the art Globalstar satellite system. The components allow for easy and complete installation of a Globalstar satellite system inside office and residential settings or on a ship.

Making a Call

Making a call with a QUALCOMM Globalstar Fixed Satellite Phone is accomplished as easily as using a wireline connection. Like most telephone sets: Pick up the telephone handset and listen for dial tone. When you hear dial tone, dial the telephone number. After a short pause, the number will be sent over the Globalstar satellite system. To end a call, place the telephone hand set in its cradle.
